Price just reduced to $229,000

After cruising and living aboard for 12 years, it's time to move on and put my beloved blue water cruiser for sale. We started our cruise from Seattle on August of 98, spent over 2 years cruising up and down the Mexican coast and in through the Sea of Cortez then made the jump down to Central and South America and on to French Polynesia, the Northern Cook Island of Penrhyn and Christmas Island ending up in Hilo the day before Thanksgiving and settled in Honolulu in January of 2004 where I am now. She's given us wonderful adventures lasting 6 years with plenty of fabulous memories of beautiful exotic places, many areas that aren't even accessable except by boat. Dawnsbelle is  the "perfect" boat for a second home, chartering, off shore cruising, liveaboard; full or partime residence.

The minute we walked on board for the first time that was it, love at first sight, we knew this was going to be our new home. She's roomy, safe, totally self sufficient and can be handled by 2 people comfortably. She would be a great family boat as well since she has an incredible amount of living and storage space... or maybe you're thinking of chartering or just want a larger boat for visitors or family get togethers. Whatever your reason for a bigger boat Dawnsbelle is an attractive vessel.

Since we sold our house and all our material possesions I wanted to make sure when we moved on board we didn't feel at any time like we were "camping". We wanted to be sure we had all the comforts of home installed on board and we have made many improvements to the equipment on board. All the ammenities any home owner would expect but no yard work! I've included a description, the systems on board and some photos.

Skookum in the Northwest Indian Language means Strong
Skookum Marine located in Port Townsend Washington needed a name that would describe the quality and integrity of the fiberglass boats they were constructing so they chose the Indian word 'Skookum' which described the boat perfectly.  Even though they are no longer in operation, Skookum still has the enviable record of building boats that were strong safe seaworthy vessels designed for service in the tough North Pacific waters off the coasts of Oregon, Washington and Alaska.  They boasted that the hulls were virtually bulletproof.  Most are still in service today and going strong.  Designed by internationally known marine architects Ed Monk & Sons, each boat was designed for the work it was asked to do whether to go around the world, compete in a race or go to sea after a load of salmon, albacore or bottomfish.  The interior and deck layouts were all custom designed and built so no two are alike, each presold and designed to the customers requests and needs.  Only a dozen or so of the 53' models were made into pleasure boats the rest commercial fishing vessels.  They were all built to stay at sea for extended periods of time and a minimum expenditure of high price fuel.

DawnsBelle is located in Hawaii on the Island of Oahu in the beautiful Ko'Olina Marina.
